Loeb for Star Tribune!
The Star Tribune won the prestigious Loeb award last night for a fantastic series called “Hounded — Debtors and the New Breed of Collectors.” It’s great recognition of the quality of the journalism our team produces.
The Loeb is the big award for business journalism. I was lucky enough to be at the ceremony a few years back when MarketWatch.com won. It is an impressive affair and honor to win a Loeb.
"Everybody knows that commodity-type content is going to be out there…but inside scoops, strong enterprise content, columns, blogs, and deep reporting? That’s what newspapers believe users will pay for and that’s certainly going to be part of our strategy moving forward."
